Figured out, that while it is still term break, I ought to blog.

I had planned a rollerblade outing at ECP yesterday. And as I went along inviting the few people I had in mind, those people asked if more people could come, so I the end I became the organizer for a group of 11. Fun =3 (It became a blade-cycle session instead.)

When everyone had returned their bikes, I had an accident.

It was near the rental area, so it was rather crowded. And then the me on blades found myself heading straight for another guy on blades. We both tried to avoid each other... in the same direction. And, epic CRASH. He landed smack on top of me. A guy and a girl crashing into each other result in the guy landing on top. Classic anime moment ain't it? Ta dah.

Thankfully, it was on grass (albeit rather dried up grass). I landed not on my butt, but on my spine. The guy got up first and tried to help me us. I couldn't stand yet, because it hurts, so I told him so. By the time I got up, he had disappeared. I suppose a big group of my friends were around so he thought he wasn't needed and had better make his escape first.

Having experienced an anime moment first-hand, I thought I should record some information:
  1. True - The guy will always land on top.
He is the bigger and heavier one after all.
  2. False - It leaves the girl a strong impression of the guy.
I don't even remember how he looks like. Except he has broad shoulders and is wearing black.
  3. False - The guy gets ridiculously happy.
While I am not a guy, I don't think that is possible because everything happens way too fast.
  4. False - the two will get up rubbing their foreheads.
Forehead-smashing will not result in that type of fall. Body-smashing WILL. Therefore, the girl should be getting up rubbing their butt (because that is what will hurt).

EDIT: I should have taken his number as Yun Yun suggested. My back still hurts, even after a week. Need to call him for accident report.

ISAA LOU YII

Listening: 50 Action Bible Songs - He’s Got The Whole World In His Hands
Drinking: Lipton Quality Black Tea
Random Quote: You are quite smart, right? So thank God!! - Mom
=================================

My girl was chirping for the whole of today: "ISAALOUYII~" "Isaalou yii~" "Isaa LOU yii" "IsAA louyii" "Isaa lou YII~"

And I died from cute overload.

What happened today was, during worship, a new song with the lyrics "Jesus loves me" was being sang. Because she came late (as always), that was the only song she heard of the entire worship. And she remembered these lyrics and was happy for the rest of today repeating these words. I don't know if she understood these words, but she seemed so happy whenever she said it.

It makes me so pleased. This is a great improvement from the girl four months ago who could only communicate by means of aahh iiii ooo eehh and the like. We are hearing things that sound like words from her mouth. Even her mother said she had improved a lot.

It isn't just her. Ever since the children ministry Special Needs group started, all the children that have came to us have improved. One of our Downs Syndrome boys and two of our Global Delay kids have integrated into the group with normal children. It takes a long time, but hey, who says there are no rewards to serving in the Special Needs?

It is because of this, that I am apprehensive about whether I should move on to serving the normal kids. Like, I like my own much. ; ___ ; Even if other people give up on them, I still want to be with them. =3

It is a housewarming gift for woman who used to report to my dad. She is a single mother with two kids.

Drawing Jesus ate the most time out of me. I think I can somewhat understand how the writers of the bible felt like every time they had to write the letters "יהוה" (YHWH). Probably their hands shook, and got sweaty, and maybe worse.

EDIT: Divine revelation is divine. Half of her house walls were green!! It matched perfectly.

It has been a long time since I experience one this bad. Could not lie down, had to sleep sitting up. Chest hurts, coughs whole night, tonnes of phlegm stuck in me.

Doctor costs 69 dollars, of which 45 dollars goes to the box of TAMIFLU with 10 capsules. Wow, one capsule is $4.50. Roche must be bloody rich.

EDIT: Anyone tried Holy Spirit as a treatment for asthma? I found that it very works well when taken with Ventolin.

I miss Malaysia. But maybe, it is the food I ate in Malaysia that caused my sickness.

I saw the coloured scenes that I painstakingly animated. It looked awesome~ I must post it when our group finishes it.

And neeways, the final assignment for Photoshop class. I'm in the "ahh-screw-you-and-your-shitty-montage-methods" mode. I just want to paint something I like that looks nice, even if it is not whatever you want. (The usual: click for bigger.)

Photobucket

3D, also, was a mess. (God, I pray that we have saner lecturers next sem.)

I don't know why, but my Photoshop is lagshit today. Blast it. Something with colour profiles.

It was an assigment: draw a full body portrait of a pirate. Or something. Tikam background is tikam, done in less than half an hour. The character herself? Hmmm, was it two or three days?

I super love the face. It looks like a profile pic for a character in a game doesn't it?

There are a lot of things I don't understand. That much I am aware of.

I don't understand how his methods are any better than what I have been doing. Maybe that's why I didn't listen. I don't mean any form of disrespect. I just did not understand that he wanted us to do it his way.

His talked about my midterms. If only he knew. I know I was slacking. But, I'm not that good of a DPS-er. Despite that, I had to raid solo. I attacked, I buffed, I tanked alone. There is only so much a weak player can take. It wasn't the right time to heal up at the fountain, I wanted to do that anyway.

This monkey is fond of escapism, this much I am aware of.

It is troublesome being a female.

But then again, given how I like to touch people, I guess it is a good thing. Guys that touch girls are perverts, and guys that touch other guys are gay.

So thank you, God, that I am female. Even though there are headaches and cramps and mood swings now.

God is good All the time
He put a song of praise
In this heart of mine
God is good All the time
Through the darkest night
His light will shine
God is good All the time
God is good

If you're walking through the valley
There are shadows all around
Do no fear He will guide you
He will keep you safe and sound
He has promised to never leave you
Nor forsake you
And His Word is true

God is good All the time
He put a song of praise
In this heart of mine
God is good All the time
Through the darkest night
His light will shine
God is good All the time
God is good

We were sinners so unworthy
Still for us He chose to die
He filled us with His Holy Spirit
Now we can stand and testify
That His love is everlasting
And His mercies they will never end

God is good All the time
He put a song of praise
In this heart of mine
God is good All the time
Through the darkest night
His light will shine
God is good All the time
God is good
God is good

On an unrelated note, I am fully supportive of a "CHOP-IT-OFF" regime. For all the unfaithful men out there.

Mortal Life is a horrible game

=================================
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Listening: Praise Band - I Walk By Faith
Reading: my email
=================================

The tutorial mode is hard to understand and does not cover much. The UI is terribly difficult to navigate through. The gameplay is tiresome and boring. The minimap is non-existant. Equipment slots are limited. Your inventory malfunctions way too often. The common job classes overlap way too much and require too many confusing stat buildups. The elite job classes: ppffft... Those are randomly assigned when you create your character. Many quests give you more exasperation than experience points, and even lesser gold.

Way too much player interactivity - the bane of solo players - is required.

One thing I give it credit though: Random events are varied, and infinite possible routes are available based on the choices the player makes. Adrenaline and pressure, guaranteed.

This game sucks. I can't wait to die and logout.

But then again, the Game Master is the one who decides who he wishes to banhammer. If you're going to do this to us, Game Master, could you upgrade the tutorial mode? Or teach me how to use the support hotline. I don't know how to continue playing this for another 50 years.

It is a selfish request, but I pray: Give me banhammer. Please

Maybe it's God's way of speaking to me. When I woke up today, I heard this tune. After a while, I remembered what song was it.
Give me oil in my lamp, keep me burning
Give me oil in my lamp, I pray
Give me oil in my lamp, keep me burning
Keep me burning 'til the break of day

Give me joy in my heart, keep me praising
Give me joy in my heart, I pray
Give me joy in my heart, keep me praising
Keep me praising 'til the break of day

'kay, Polo Club now.

saru makes a good mother

=================================
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Listening: Starfield - From The Corners Of The Earth
Watching: Adobe Illustrator 12 (AKA CS2)
Random Quote: "Wow Joelynn will make a good parent. Okay, you are ready to get a boyfriend now." - Dad
=================================

I say that because of the other mothers I have seen. I don't know how on earth a six-year-old boy can win an argument with his mom, or why a mother would cry when her eight-year-old son lies on the floor to throw a tantrum. It just goes to show how much in control these parents are of their children. And these are not random parents I see in public or something. I know them.

If I were to be a mother, I would be like the mother of the tape recorder boy: "You cannot touch girls, no pet pet, no hug hug, no kiss kiss. You cannot touch girls, no pet pet, no hug hug, no kiss kiss. You cannot touch girls, no pet pet... ..." He doesn't know the reason behind these instructions, but he obeys them and repeats them like this anyway.

Speaking of kiss kiss, the reason why tape recorder kept going on repeat was because he was talking to someone whose hormones went on SEED-mode today and kept chasing around a girl to kiss her.

BEST REJECTION EVAR. (Of course, she, being autistic, and only five years old, didn't know anything. It was just wet so she had to wipe it off.)
